Do you know how long your fall protection has been in service? You should know when the fall protection was made, but do you know how long it’s been used? I recommend that when you purchase fall protection you write on the tag the month and year that it was first put into service. With doing this, it will also prompt you that the annual competent person inspection needs to be conducted. As always, remember to follow the manufacture recommendations for removal criteria.
